Guldenberg is a tripel-style abbey ale containing 8.5% vol. Alc. Its colour is blond and it’s made of pale malt with the addition of candy sugar. The bitterness comes from the Hallertau hops we use as bitterhop and as aromahop. On top of that we use dry – hopping techniques with the same hops which give the ale its unique flavour and aroma and its perfect balance between sweet and bitter. The name came from the former Guldenberg Abbey in Wevelgem, the village of birth of Nino, one of the brewers. According to data in Flandria Illustrata ale was brewed here in the past.

Kriek De Ranke is a 7% vol. Alc. Kriek that’s unique because the composition is based on two different styles of sour ales. Being the red-brown style from the Roeselare/ Kortrijk/ Oudenaarde-region and the Lambic style from the Pajottenland-region, close to Brussels. We produce and acidify the red-brown ale ourselves, after which we add 25% sour cherries. These cherries stay in the ale for 6 months. Once fermented, the cherries come out and we add Lambic from Brewery Girardin. After this the ale matures for a while before being ready to drink. It’s an explicit thirst quencher, that contains nearly no sugar.

Cuvee is an ale of mixed origin like many Belgian breweries used to make. The production process is nearly the same as for the Kriek, the difference being that no cherries are added. It’s a naturally acidified ale in which we try to reach the perfect balance between sweet and sour. This amber-coloured ale contains 7% vol. Alc. and can age really nice.
